Megan Parker’s life as an artist is deeply rooted in her love of the mountains. There is something raw, humbling, and profoundly moving about stepping into the forest and standing among the peaks that surround her home in Canmore, Alberta. Through her paintings, Megan seeks to capture the boldness and beauty of these landscapes and to evoke in others the same sense of awe, wonder, and connection that continues to inspire her.

Creativity has always been a defining part of Megan’s life. A proud self-taught artist, Megan built her foundation through experimentation, intuition, and persistence, learning from every brushstroke. Her journey with painting started in high school, when she was asked to create a small painting as a part of a community display. That small project sparked a lifelong pursuit of exploring color, texture, and emotion through acrylics — and led her to discover her own distinctive artistic voice.
