Jacqueline Wang - Artist Statement

Jacqueline Lili Wang was born in China. She was a TV program hostess, journalist, and poet in China. By 2018, she had become a Canadian citizen.

In 2020, Jacqueline studied in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and graduated from Red River College with a major in Digital Media Design. Her specialty is motion graphic design, and she is also skilled in graphic design and web design. During her college years, Jacqueline discovered her passion for drawing. She enjoyed various forms of painting, including sketching, watercolour, gouache, coloured pencil, acrylic, and oil painting.

After graduation, she moved to Calgary. She hopes to further develop her art skills in the future.
